INNOVATIVE VISIONARIES

Our bold leadership creates great companies

Co-Founders

J. Thomas Hurvis

Co-Founder

Tom Hurvis and his partner, Riaz Waraich, founded Old World Industries over 40 years ago. With only $2,000, an office space and a great deal of determination, the two men grew the small chemical trading company into the largest, privately held, "integrated-to-the-shelf" chemical producer in the United States.

Riaz H. Waraich

Co-Founder

From a young man in Lahore, to a global entrepreneur and founding partner of Old World Industries, LLC, Riaz Waraich will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched on his journey. In his passing in 2014, we are left with many fond memories and examples of how we all can become just a little bit better by following the trail he blazed with his loyalty, humor, and uncompromised dignity.
